Q4A is seeking an ambitious, passionate, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Designer or Co-op student to join our team in Toronto.   • Strong knowledge and fluency in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture;
  • Ability to work independently, developing and coordinating drawings;
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up; 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent 3D Modelling and rendering skills; and 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a minimum 3-year Architectural technology diploma.
  • Architectural degree Co-op placements will also be accepted.


  • Development of?2D and 3D presentation drawings and coloured renderings;
  • Assist with Design and space planning at the schematic and design development phases;
  • Produce conceptual building elevations, floor plans, and site plans including renderings for proposals and marketing;
  • Execute drawings, construction documents, technical documents, details, sketches, etc.;
  • Collaborate in the production of construction drawings and specifications, according to set standards;
  • Collaborate in the production of conceptual drawings, technical drawings, and in solving technical problems;
  • Contribute to the overall success of the projects by committing to utilizing best practices;
  • Assist with preparation of material samples, specification drawings and presentation boards; and,
  • Assist in establishing office drawings standards and file/library management practices.

COVID-19 Procedures:

Following the recent uptick in Coronavirus/COVID-19 cases in Ontario, our staff has returned to a largely Work-from-Home environment, however our office remains open to allow people to work socially-distanced if they prefer. We utilize Zoom and Microsoft Teams for digital collaboration among project teams and communicating with our clients. Working knowledge and comfort with these systems is essential to the success of this role. Ongoing, we are reassessing our Return-to-Office plans in conjunction with government guidelines.
