Hello, my name is Haiyan! I'm a Job Captain at Q4A with a decade of experience in the field.

I studied an Architectural Technology Program, where I gained valuable insights and skills, and my expertise primarily on designing low-rise residential projects.

What drew me into architecture, initially, was its intricate relationship with the world around us. It's an ever-evolving field that never ceases to amaze me.

The continuous innovation and the never-ending opportunities to learn keeps me passionate about this profession.

Traveling and exploring new places is a big part of my life. I'm endlessly fascinated by the distinct characteristics of cities, buildings, and landscapes.

Whenever I'm in a new location, I make it a point to scour local bookstores for architecture-related books, photo essays, or travel narratives.

Outside of work, I'm a bit of a foodie. I enjoy finding restaurants that serve really tasty dishes. But it's not just about the food for me. I like to think about why a restaurant is located where it is, who they're trying to attract, and even how they've designed its space. It gives me great pleasure to analyze these sorts of things.
