Hi, I’m Nathan, Senior Designer and Job Captain at Q4 Architects.
I have worked at Q4A since 2007 and have nearly 20 years of experience in Interior Space Planning and Residential Architecture, where I have contributed to multiple residential projects within the GTA, Calgary and US as a design lead.
I graduated from the Architectural Technology Program at George Brown College and have furthered my studies as a Revit Architecture Professional from Humber College and through Continuing Education and literature.
I got into architecture primarily from my curiosity at a young age about how things go together and my passion to build and create from my imagination. The idea that in architecture you can bring dreams and ideas to life has always inspired me. Being a visual learner, I have always believed a picture speaks 1000 words. In my downtime I enjoy putting pen to paper and sketching new ideas and exploring my creativity.
When the workday comes to an end I generally like to unplug and enjoy the outdoors, be it camping, being by the water or just going for a drive and listening to music, all while taking in the natural built environment that surrounds us.
I have also been actively involved in the community throughout my life whether it's through leadership roles like scouting, community groups and supporting various charities. I take pride in being able to teach and mentor others and set a good example for many to follow.
