Hello people! I am Sahil M. Samnani, a professional architect licensed with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
Currently, I hold the position of Project Architect at Q4 Architects Inc.
In my current role, my primary focus lies in the planning and execution of mid/high-rise mixed-use condominium projects.
It's been more than 10 years since I have been working in the architecture and construction industry, exposed to several types and scales of projects such as educational institutes, cinemas, industrial, and residential.
My academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and a Master's Degree in Environmental Architecture. My master's dissertation, titled "Comparative Study of Daylighting in OPD in Hospitals," was presented and published at the Passive Low Energy Architecture (PLEA) conference held in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2017.
Additionally, I completed a post professional course in architecture, known as "IPLAN", from TMU University.
In my spare time, I have contributed to the architectural field by participating in OAA blogs like "Summer Sketches" in 2022 and 2023. Also, I like to engage in sports and play cricket quite often.
Furthermore, I am a firm believer in the importance of voluntary service and have been actively involved with "Diverse Abilities", a community program organized for special children.
